Argonaut Spirit Challenge Presented by Buffalo Rock / Pepsi
PENSACOLA, Fla. – UWF student organizations and formed groups supporting West Florida basketball can register and compete in the Argonaut Spirit Challenge presented by Buffalo Rock / Pepsi. Teams will compete for prizes and the title of "UWF's Most Spirited" at all home men’s and women’s basketball games starting on January 15th. The contest is free to enter. Prizes to be awarded include:
1st place: $500 gift certificate to Buffalo Rock/ Pepsi
2nd place: $250 gift certificate to Buffalo Rock/ Pepsi
3rd place: $100 gift certificate to Buffalo Rock/ Pepsi
Teams will earn points at each game by participating in the following categories:
1. Most members present at each game
2. Loudest cheering section
3. Most spirited
4. Random Nightly contests
The theme for the first night of the spirit challenge on Thursday, January 15 will be “Rep Your Org” as contestants are invited to wear apparel designating their team, for example the team’s fraternity or sorority letters.
