Argonaut Weekly - Week Two Recap

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The West Florida men’s soccer team split on the road this weekend falling to No. 2 Rollins 3-0 and picked up a win against Florida Southern 4-3. The women’s soccer team tied No. 20 Rollins 0-0 in double overtime and was defeated on Sunday by Florida Southern 0-3, both on the road. The men’s cross country team finished second at the Fleet Feet Invitation with five runners placing in the top 15 individually. The women’s cross country team won their second straight meet this week at the Fleet Feet Invitational.

Anna Stoecklein (St. Charles, Mo./Missouri (Incarnate Word Academy) recorded 67 digs at the Colorado Premier Challenge, the third most at the tournament. Stocklein’s player landed her on the prestigious Colorado Premier Challenge All-Tournament Team.

Aimee Marsh
Freshman

Aimee Marsh (Traverse City, Mich./Traverse City Central HS) helped lead the Argos to their second consecutive overall win this week. The freshman in just her second collegiate race finished in fourth place overall.
