NCAA Division II Soccer Champions to Be Crowned in Pensacola Dec. 3
UWF and PSA to Host National Soccer Championships at Brosnaham Park
PENSACOLA, Fla. – The 2011 NCAA Division II men’s and women’s soccer national championships will be on the line at Ashton Brosnaham Park in Pensacola, Fla. on Dec. 1 and 3. The University of West Florida (UWF) and Pensacola Sports Association (PSA) will host the national semifinals and finals at Brosnaham Park, the site of numerous NCAA and Gulf South Conference championship events since 2005.
The men’s and women’s semifinals are scheduled to start on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 11 a.m. CT. The women’s semifinals will feature Chico State and two-time defending champion Grand Valley State at 11 a.m., and the College of Saint Rose and Armstrong Atlantic will follow at 2 p.m. The men’s semifinals will kick off at 5 p.m. with Lynn vs. Franklin Pierce, and the final match of the day will be the men’s semifinal between Millersville and Fort Lewis at 8 p.m.
The men’s and women’s champions will be crowned on Saturday, Dec. 3, with the women’s title match starting at 12:30 p.m. and the men’s finals at 3:30 p.m.
Tickets will be available in single-day format for $10 for adults, $5 for students, seniors and military, and $4 for youth in uniform or groups of eight or more.
