Moore Clinches One More GSC Player of the Week Award
Senior Puts up Triple-Double in Final Home Appearance

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Senior Jamar Moore earned one last Gulf South Conference Player of the Week Award, his fourth this season and fifth all time, after putting up a triple-double against Valdosta State in his career finale at the UWF Field House.
Moore shares the final Player of the Week accolades of 2011-12 with Alabama-Huntsville senior guard Josh Magette, who also earned a senior day triple-double.
The Coolidge, Ga. native was good for 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in West Florida’s only game last week. Moore led his team to the 89-76 victory while becoming the first Argo to reach the triple-double numbers since 2005.
Moore, along with the rest of the Argos, will be the No. 4 seed in the upcoming conference tournament, the first for West Florida since the 2003-04 season, and will face the No. 5 seed North Alabama this Friday at 5:30 p.m. in Niceville, Fla.
