UWF soccer home openers moved to Brosnaham Park on Friday

Argos to host Rollins in first home games of 2012

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The West Florida men’s and women’s soccer teams will host Rollins on Friday, Sept. 7, and both matches will be held at Ashton Brosnaham Park due to field conditions at the UWF Soccer Complex. If significant rain falls in the area over the weekend, the matches against Florida Southern on Sunday, Sept. 9 may also be moved to Brosnaham Park.

Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. for the UWF women’s team’s home opener versus No. 16 Rollins on Friday, and that match will be followed by the men facing the No. 17 ranked Rollins men’s team. More Division II soccer action will take place prior to the UWF doubleheader, as Florida Southern will take on North Georgia in women’s action at noon, and the Florida Southern men will face Young Harris at 2:30 p.m. Those matches will also take place at Brosnaham Park.
