Rain shortens NCAA Division II Fall Preview; Sevillano ties for third
West Florida finishes the tournament sixth overall

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A rain-logged Tuesday forced the cancellation of the final round of the NCAA Division II Fall Preview, and as a result the West Florida women’s golf team finished sixth overall after the second round results became final.
Strong play by Camila Sevillano (Cali, Colombia/La Arboleda) secured her second top-three finish in as many tournaments this season by tying for third with 149 total (73-76). Florida Tech’s Rachel Polson was the individual medalist with a 36-hole total of 145 (72-73).
The Argonauts ended the tournament with a combined score of 624 (313-311) and was just stroke out of the top-five. Barry edged Lynn by two strokes to claim the team championship with 606 total, while Florida Tech, Central Oklahoma and Florida Southern completed the five low teams.
Daisy-May Kenny (Purley, England/Woodcote HS) tied for 24th after shooting a team-low 75 on Monday for 156 total. Elin Olsson (Mantorp, Sweden/Bildningscentrum Facetten), Luisa Villar Urquiza (Buenos Aires, Argentina/Saint Mary of the Hills School) and Aimee Paterson (Sherfield on Loddon, England/Queen Mary's) are finish within two strokes of each other, with Olsson shooting 160 to tie for 33rd. Urquiza and Paterson tied for 39th and 41st, respectively, with scores of 161 and 162.
