UWF volleyball remains No. 23 in national rankings
Marks fifth straight week West Florida is nationally ranked

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Two strong wins helped the West Florida volleyball team remain steady in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division II Coaches Top 25 Poll released Monday as it ranks No. 23 in the nation for the second consecutive week. This also marks the fifth straight poll that the Argonauts have been ranked this season.
The Argonauts moved to 11-6 overall with identical 3-1 wins over Valdosta State and Mobile last week. The victory over the Blazers also gave them their fourth consecutive Gulf South Conference win and a 7-1 GSC record to remain the only team ranked in the AVCA Top 25 from the conference.
West Florida has a grueling three-match road trip this weekend beginning with West Georgia Friday at 6 p.m. in Carrollton, Ga. They face Shorter in Rome, Ga., Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and Alabama-Huntsville in Huntsville, Ala., at 1 p.m. For information on all UWF athletics, visit www.GoArgos.com.
