UWF Women's Tennis Cancelled due to Severe Weather
WINTER PARK, Fla. – Due to severe thunderstorms rolling through the Central Florida area Thursday afternoon, the West Florida women’s tennis match scheduled against California of Pennsylvania has been cancelled. The teams were slated to play one another at a neutral site on the Rollins campus. MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The No. 9 West Florida women’s tennis team (3-4, 1-0 GSC) faced No. 5 Barry (8-0) this Wednesday, March 10th and dropped its fourth match of the season, second match to a regional opponent. The match was fought toe-to-toe and could have gone either way, but the Buccaneers were stronger than the Argonauts as they only dropped a match in singles and a match in doubles to earn the 7-2 win.
