If you have ever received a handwritten note from an athlete, you would clearly understand what it means to them personally for the financial support their sport has enjoyed. It does not take a lot in GIVING to make a big difference!
In many ways, athletics is the front porch in promoting the University to the community. Typically, student athletes have grade point averages above the total student body.
