Went 24-13 in singles action, including a 5-4 mark in the top flight and a 2-1 record in GSC play … Ranked as the No. 25 player in the nation and the No. 10 player in the South Region in the final ITA rankings ... Spent the spring season ranked as one of the top 30 Division II players in the nation, with a high ranking of No. 20 … Won his final six regular season matches … picked up three wins against nationally-ranked opponents, including a 7-5, 2-6, 6-3 win over No. 28 Till Heilshorn from Ouachita Baptist on March 11 … Topped Arturo Baravelle of Rollins, 6-2, 6-1, in the NCAA South Regional tournament … Ended the year with a 25-11 doubles record … Finished 19-9 in the top doubles flight … Along with Leandro Ferreira, earned a top-10 national doubles ranking early in the season … Teamed with Ferreira to beat the Rollins pair of Jeff Morris and Arturo Baravalle, 8-2, in UWF’s NCAA South Regional tournament victory ... Fall 2010: Singles: Went 7-2 in singles … Advanced to the semifinals of the ITA South Regional and went 4-1 overall in the tournament (9/30-10/2) … As the No. 8 seed, defeated JP Walker of Eckerd in the opening round, 6-0, 6-1 … Advanced to the quarterfinals with wins over Barry’s Simon Raagard and No. 5 seed Krasimir Atanasov of Palm Beach Atlantic … A win over No. 15 seed Luis Loeffler of Valdosta State pushed Pozhidaev into the semifinals, were he fell to No. 6 seed Emanuel Fraitzl of Barry, 6-7 (1), 3-6 … Defeated Ben Maxwell of Eckerd, 6-1, 6-2, in the round of 16 and advanced to the singles Flight A finals at the UWF Fall Fling (10/22) … After falling to Luis Loeffler of Valdosta State, 6-3, 3-6, 7-10, in the first round of the Thomasville Invitational (9/10), went on to record victories over Jordan Kelly-Houston of Florida State and Florida A&M’s Chidi Gabriel … Doubles: Teamed with Mike Lue and went 6-2 in doubles … The duo defeated Florida Southern’s Davis and Kelly-Houston, 8-5, and Georgia Southern’s Gutierrez and Verapeaux, 8-1, to advance to the doubles championship at the Thomasville Invitational … Fell to No. 1 seed Dueren and Loeffler of Valdosta State in the championship, 3-8 … Fell in the round of 16 to No. 4 seed Malobicky/Sara of Lynn, 5-8, at the ITA South Regional … Advanced to the finals in doubles with Lue at the UWF Fall Fling … Went 3-0 in the tournament, including a 8-3 win over Konzionov and Knight of Nichols State in the semifinals.

Spring 2010: Named to the All-GSC Men’s Tennis Team for the second year … Singles: Went 16-2 overall, including 4-0 against regular season GSC competition … Was 14-2 at the No. 3 singles position and 2-0 at No. 2 … Was 4-2 against nationally ranked opponents … Defeated No. 13-ranked Jan Plewinski of Ouachita Baptist, 6-1, 6-4, on March 13th … Was No. 43 in the national preseason rankings … Climbed to No. 22 in singles on March 30th, his season high … Finished the season ranked No. 24 nationally … Ranked in the top 20 in every edition of the South Region rankings … Finished the season No. 14 in the South, after being ranked as high as No. 10 … Doubles: Went 12-11, including 3-1 against regular season conference opponents … Was 10-8 at the No. 2 position when teamed with Mike Lue ... Went 2-3 with Lukas Larsson … With Lue, finished the season as the No. 19 doubles team in the South Region … First entered the regional rankings on March 30th as the No. 19 duo.

Fall 2009: Singles: Reached the round of 16 at the Wilson/ITA Regional Championships … Reached the semifinals of the Thomasville Collegiate Invitational … Advanced to the quarterfinals of the UWF Fall Fling, falling to former teammate Luis Arboleda ... Doubles: Teamed with Lukas Larsson to win the UWF Fall Fling, defeating teammates Kevin Ducros and Leandro Ferreira in the final match … After losing in the first round of the ITA/Wilson Championships, the duo of Pozhidaev and Patrick Bateman advanced to the finals of the back draw.

2009: Helped the West Florida men’s tennis team finish ranked No. 9 nationally and No. 5  regionally … Helped the team to 15 victories and reach the finals of the NCAA South Region Tournament … Earned All-GSC selections … Singles: Played at the No. 2 spot for the Argonauts … Posted a 16-7 (.696) record, including a 2-3 mark against Gulf South Conference (GSC) opponents … Finished the season ranked No. 44 in the nation and No. 14 in the South Region … Was ranked as high as No. 42 in the nation ... Gave the Argos a critical win over Juan Ponce in UWF’s win over Drury … Gave the Argos their lone point against No. 3 Lynn when he defeated Miloslav Navratil in straight sets … Doubles: Played at the No. 1 spot with partner Kevin Ducros … Posted a 14-10 (.583) record, including a 4-4 mark against duos from GSC schools … Finished the season ranked No. 16 in the nation and No. 8 in the region (w/ Ducros) … With Ducros, defeated three Division II ranked duos, including No. 8 Gonzales and Suarez from Columbus State.

Fall 2008: Singles: Ranked 15th in singles in the NCAA Division II south region. Doubles: Teamed with Sean Gunnels to form the ninth ranked doubles team in the south region … Teamed with Luis Arboleda to reach the finals of the UWF Fall Fling Tournament.

Other Tennis Experience: Singles: Champion of the Russian Tennis Federation tournaments. Doubles: Bronze medalist at the Russian National Championships.
