Selected by the Nationals with the 1,087th overall pick in the 36th round of the MLB Draft... In his rookie season posted a 2-0 record with a 2.22 ERA while fanning 26 batters in 24.1 innings or work while holding opponents to a .179 average.
2011: Impressed many in his junior season, making 16 starts as one of UWF’s primary weekend starters... All-GSC first team selection... two-time GSC (3/1, 4/12) and NCBWA South Region (3/2, 4/13) Pitcher of the Week... finished with an 11-3 record and a 2.91 ERA... struck out 101 batters in just 86.2 innings, the fourth most strikeouts in a single season for an Argonaut pitcher... also allowed a .225 opponents’ average... ranked 22nd in the nation in strikeouts... ranked fifth in the GSC in opponents’ average, fifth in innings pitched, second in strikeouts and fifth in wins... struck out 10 in a four-hit shutout over Florida Southern (2/26)... named the Louisville Slugger and NCBWA National Player of the Week after pitching a no-hitter vs. West Alabama (4/9), the second no-hitter in UWF’s Division II history... hurled eight innings and allowed one run with eight strikeouts in UWF’s opening round win over Stillman in the NCAA South Regional (5/19).

2009: (Wallace State Community College-Hanceville) Went 4-3 as a freshman at Wallace State-Hanceville ... posted an ERA of 5.48 in 17 appearances ... finished with 44 strikeouts in 46.0 innings pitched.
