Sean Gabrus | Graduate Assistant Coach
Sean Gabrus began his coaching career as an undergraduate assistant for the Argonauts men's basketball team in 2009. Gabrus was responsible for maintaining all equipment, game filming, and multiple other duties to assist the coaching staff. He will continue his coaching career as a graduate assistant in 2012 where his duties will include, but are not limited to, running drills in practice, leading the team during pregame warm-ups, assisting in recruiting, editing game film, and developing scouting reports. He also gained coaching experience from summer basketball camps such as the UWF Basketball School and Atlanta Elite Pro Showcase.
Gabrus graduated from UWF in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management while maintaining a 3.34 grade point average. He also held positions as president of both the UWF Sport Management Club and ArgoNuts organization. Gabrus is currently pursuing a master’s in Physical Education.
