2008-09: Made the transition to shooting guard, appearing in all 27 games and starting 25 while averaging a team-high 34.5 minutes per game … All-GSC East Division second team selection … GSC East Division Player of the Week (1/21) … named to all-tournament teams at West Florida Classic and Dr. Mary Jane Gilbert Classic … averaged 14.0 points and 3.1 assists per game … led the team from long range (61-157; .355) and the free throw line (60-74; .811) … was the team’s leading scorer (16.9 ppg) in GSC play, ranking her fifth in the conference … ranked sixth in the GSC in free throw percentage, 10th in three-point field goal percentage, and fifth in minutes per game … scored 22 and was a perfect 4-4 from long range against NCAA semifinalist Delta State (11/16) … set a new career high with 27 points against North Alabama (1/15) … was 5-8 from long range and scored 26 against GSC East Division champion West Georgia (1/17) … scored in double figures in six straight games (12/30-1/22) … matched her career high with 27 points against West Alabama (2/21).
2007-08: Played in all 27 games in her first year at UWF, making 13 starts averaging 21.1 minutes per game … saw most of her time at the point guard position … averaged 7.8 points per game, and she led the team with 3.2 assists per game … led the team in free throw percentage at .866 (58-67) … averaged 9.3 points per game in GSC play … ranked 10th in the GSC in assists per game and second in free throw percentage … was a perfect 8-8 from the free throw line with 12 points against Arkansas Tech (11/23) … scored 13 points and added nine assists in her first UWF start against Ouachita Baptist (11/24) … dished out a career high 11 assists against Albany State (11/27) … scored 20 points in two straight games (2/11 vs. Alabama-Huntsville, 2/18 vs. North Alabama) … was 5-7 from long range and scored a season high 24 against North Alabama (2/18).
2006-07: (Winthrop University) Appeared in 17 games off the bench for Division I Winthrop University, averaging 5.9 minutes per game … totaled 25 points and was 11-14 (.786) from the free throw line.
High School: Earned All-State honors as a junior and senior and was named Player of the Year as a junior at Niceville High School … All-Star selection in her senior season … finished her high school career as the school’s all-time leader in points (1,895) and assists … received President’s Award for academics.
Personal: Daughter of Karen and Terry Drake … has one sister, Amanda … majoring in Sports Management … plans to play ball overseas after graduation... also played softball, volleyball, and track through junior high and played baseball since the age of six... enjoys music, drawing, ultimate frisbee, and being in the gym in her free time.
