Earned All-America First Team status as a member of the 200 Medley Relay (1:44.30), 200 Free Relay (1:43.15), 400 Free Relay (3:24.66), 800 Free Relay (7:27.76)... Honorable Mention honors in the 50 Free (23.49), 100 Fly (56.15), and 100 Free (51.06)... Picked up silver medal in the 50 Free (23.59) at NSISC Championships... Led team to a third-place finish in the 200 Medley Relay at conference championships... Clocked a B-cut time of 55.22 in the 100 Fly at NSISC Championships, finishing second in the event, picking up the third-fastest time in the event in school history and scoring a top 10 time in the event nationally... 2014-15: Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 100-yard freestyle and placed 11th (50.97) to earn All-America honorable mention… also earned All-America honorable mention as a part of UWF’s relay teams in the 200-yard freestyle, 400-yard freestyle, 800-yard freestyle and 200-yard medley relays… placed 19th in the 50-yard freestyle (23.64) and 26th in the 100-yard butterfly (56.62) at nationals… finished first in the 50 free (23.47) at the NSISC Championships for the second straight year… member of UWF’s first place 400 free relay team at the NSISC Championships… repeat selection to the All-NSISC Team… broke the school record in the 200-yard freestyle (1:51.55) at the NSISC Championships… also set a new school record in the 100 free (50.81) on Nov. 23… was a part of UWF’s school record relay teams in the 200 free, 400 free and 800 free at the NSISC Championships… also ranked in the team’s top 10 in the 100-yard backstroke (1:02.52).

2013-14: Recorded first NCAA Swimming Individual Qualifier (A-cut) in the 100 Fly in program history (54.84; 2/21/14 in Cleveland, Miss.)… finished tied for High Points at NSISC Championships… won NSISC Championship in 100 Free (51.17)… member of the 400 Free Relay team that won NSISC Championship (3:27.74)… member of the 200 medley relay team that finished second at the NSISC Championship… placed 2nd as a team in 200 Medley Relay at NSISC Championships(1:44.34)… finished 3rd at NSISC in 400 Medley Relay (3:51.09)… notched first individual event win in the 200 Free in program history (1:57.49; 10/18/13 in Birmingham, Ala.)… set school records in the 50 Free (23.30), 100 Free (50.96) and 100 Fly (54.84)… posted all 10 of the fastest times for UWF in the 50 Free… swam the four fastest times for UWF in the 100 Free and the five fastest in the 100 Fly… member of the relay teams that set school records in the 200 Free (1:34.56), 200 Medley (1:44.34), 400 Free (3:27.74) and 400 Medley (3:51.09)

2012-13 (Drury University): Helped lead Drury to the NCAA Division II national championship… qualified for the 50 yard freestyle, 100 yard freestyle, 200 yard medley relay and 200 yard freestyle relay at the NCAA Division II Championships.

Amateur: Member of the South Africa Deaflympics team since 2007… member of the South Africa junior national team since 2009… holds the deaf world swimming record in the 50 meter backstroke at 31.11… competed in the 2013 Deaflympics in Bulgaria and won a silver medal in the 50 meter backstroke, a silver in the 100 meter butterfly and a bronze in the 100 meter freestyle… also competed at the 2009 Deaflympics in Taiwan and won the gold medal in the 50 meter backstroke, silver in the 100 meter freestyle, silver in the 100 meter backstroke and bronze in the 50 meter butterfly.

High School: Lettered four years at Somerset College High School… recorded a time of 22.98 in the 50 yard freestyle… certificate of outstanding achievement in swimming… three Sportswoman of the Year Awards… won five individual Provincial Junior Swimming Records… also competed in water skiing, horse riding, motor biking and hockey in high school.

Personal: Daughter of Almero and Marika de Villiers… has one sister, Allie... majoring in communications... nominated for International Student Academic Award… hopes to swim professionally after graduation.
