2015 Gulf South Conference All-Tournament Team 

2014-15: Played in all but one tournament as a sophomore … First place finish at the 2015 Gulf South Conference Championships (75-72-68 – 215) to help lead the Argonauts to its third straight conference title … Shot a season best 68 in the third round of the conference championships … Three top-30 finishes during the season … Posted the fifth best scoring average on the team at 75.56 per round and 3.78-over par.

2013-14: Played in all but one tournament as a freshman… honorable mention selection to the GCAA All-America Team… also named to the GCAA All-Freshman Team… selected to the GCAA All-South Region Team… named the Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Year and earned a spot on the All-GSC Team… posted a scoring average of 72.78 and 1.11-over par, the 11th best single season in UWF history… averaged 4.1039 on par 4 holes, the eighth best single season mark in school history… posted four rounds in the 60s and 12 rounds of par or better… finished first individually and led UWF to a team win at the Arkansas State Fall Beach Classic (71-69-70 - 210)… also posted top-10 finishes at the Cougar Invitational, Las Vegas Desert Classic, Argonaut Invitational and GSC Championships… helped lead UWF to a GSC championship and earned a spot on the all-tournament team after placing sixth individually (69-73-75 - 217).

Amateur: Attended Colegio Alejandria and IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. before coming to West Florida.

Personal: Son of Armando and Marcela Castro... Has two siblings, Diego and Pablo... Majoring in business with a minor in marketing while at UWF.
