CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The National Premier Soccer League has announced University of West Florida men's soccer head coach Bill Elliott as the recipient of the 2015 Alexander Arellano Memorial Trophy, and award given to the league's top head coach. This marks the second year in a row that Elliott has earned the award for top coach in the NPSL after leading Chattanooga FC to its third NPSL National Championship appearance in his four-year tenure as head coach.
 
CFC has had immense success with Elliott at the helm over the past four seasons. The team has won four consecutive NPSL Southeast Conference Championships, back-to-back NPSL South Region Championships and has made three NPSL National Championship appearances. Elliott was also named the NPSL National Coach of the Year in 2014. Elliott has led Chattanooga FC to a 50-11-12 record in his tenure as head coach.
 
The Alexander Arellano Memorial Trophy is an award with a very special meaning.  Alex Arellano was a young man who touched the lives of many in the NPSL, so much that the league crafted an award in his memory. Alex, the middle son of Real San Jose owner Nick Arellano, passed away in 2012 at the age of 25.
 
The five-time Gulf South Conference Coach of the Year will enter his 21st season as the head coach for the West Florida men's soccer program this fall.
 
Chattanooga FC will face the New York Cosmos B in the NPSL National Championship game on Saturday, August 8 at 7:30 p.m. ET at Finley Stadium.
