FINAL RESULTS
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – UWF's Swim & Dive team finished with a 2-1 record at their swim meet on Saturday at the Morcom Aquatics Center located in Tallahassee, Florida. UWF defeated #17 Florida Southern 207-86 and beat North Florida 186-107. The Argos loss to Division one opponent Florida State by a final score of 203-94. West Florida owns an overall record of 7-3-1, with a second place finish at the Shark Invitational as well. All three of those losses for the Argonauts have come to Division One competition (Alabama, Florida State, and Georgia Southern).

West Florida finished with two first place finishes and four second place finishes in the sixteen events at the meet.

Sophomore
Morgan Ayers gave the Argos their first victory of the day, when she recorded a time of 1:09.50 in the 100 Yard Breaststroke event. Ayers finished 0:00.20 seconds in front of second place Florida State Swimmer, Bella English.

Freshman
Ester Rizzetto had a very impressive showing at today's meet, finishing in first place in the 100 Yard Freestyle with a time posting of 52.15. She also placed second in the 50 Yard Freestyle (24.05), and in the 500 Yard Freestyle (5:09.73).

Freshman
Olivia Hadaway came in second place for the 100 Yard Butterfly event with a time of 58.70, only 0.80 seconds behind the first place winner.

West Florida ended the swim meet with a second place finish in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay. Rizzetto, Tabitha Read-Cayton,
Brooke Ferrara, and
Caitlin Tierney completed their event with a 1:36.71 time.

Diver
Jesstina Farrell led the way for the Argonauts' Dive Squad finishing in third at both the One-Meter Diving Event (246.45), and the Three Meter Diving Event (246.00).
The UWF Swim and Dive team will split up for their next set of competition on the weekend of November 16
th-18
th. The Swim team will head to the Panther Invitational at Melbourne, Florida, where they will take on Florida Tech and others at the Panther Aquatic Center. The Dive team on the other hand will compete in the Delta Diving Invitational at the DSU Aquatics Center located in Cleveland, Mississippi.
