PENSACOLA, Fla. – West Florida will be hosting their last meet of the season on Saturday morning at 8:30am versus No. 14 Delta State and Division III opponent, Emory University. Emory is currently ranked No. 3 in the Division III CSCAA Rankings.

The Argonauts will be celebrating Senior Day at the swim meet, honoring four seniors that have been instrumental over the years and meant a great deal to the UWF Swim & Dive Program. The seniors that will be honored at the meet on Saturday are
Pia Hulley,
Mariah Constantakos,
Lauren Harper, and
Julia Kostecki.

Delta State lost to LSU 82-211, but defeated Incarnate Word 170-127 in their last meet a week ago. Lady Statesmen Senior Celina Batsel has been one of the Delta State players to watch this year finishing first in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:54.59 against Lindenwood earlier this year, and placing first against Henderson State with a time of 5:08.48.

Emory has fared well this season going 2-1 with a first place finish at the Emory Invitational, a third place finish in the Denison Invitational, and a third place finish in the SCAD Invitational. The Eagles are coming off a 173-88 victory at Florida Southern last week. West Florida defeated Florida Southern earlier this season 186-107 at Tallahassee.

Earlier this month West Florida's Swim Team defeated Ouachita Baptist 145-54, winning ten out of the eleven events at the meet. Freshman
Ester Rizzetto led the way for the Argos with two individual event wins in the 200 Yard IM (2:08.25) and the 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:08.63). Rizzetto also helped contribute to both of the UWF relay wins at the meet. The Argos won the 200 Yard Medley Relay with a Finals time of 1:51.10 and came in first place in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:39.61.

The last time the UWF Dive team faced live competition they finished in first place at the Delta Diving Invitational.Â
Jesstina Farrell finished in first place in the 1M event with a Final Score of 423.30, and came in second place in the 3M event posting a Final score of 451.35.Â
Carson Bronnenberg competed in a separate exhibition 3M diving event, and received a qualifying score of 433.27.
