PENSACOLA, Fla. – West Florida's Swim Team defeated Ouachita Baptist 145-54 on Saturday morning, winning ten out of the eleven events at the meet.

Sophomore
Christina Kilpatrick got the Argos rolling with a victory in the second event (1000 Yard Freestyle) by finishing with a time of 11:34.75.

Lauren Johnson finished in first place for the 100 Yard Backstroke with a Finals time of 1:01.95.

Sophomore
Ardinn Grabenhorst won the 500 Yard Freestyle event by posting a Finals time of 5:28.72.

Ester Rizzetto continued her success with two more individual event wins in the 200 Yard IM (2:08.25) and the 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:08.63).

UWF won both of the relays at today's meet. They started the day off by winning the 200 Yard Medley by posting a Finals time of 1:51.10. The four Argos who were a part of the winning team were
Pia Hulley,
Morgan Ayers,
Taby Read-Cayton, and Rizzetto. The Argonauts ended the meet by winning the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:39.61. Rizzetto,
Caitlin Tierney,
Brooke Ferrara, and Read-Cayton were members of the UWF 200 Yard Freestyle team that finished in first place.

"We haven't raced since Thanksgiving, so it was nice to get back out there after the break and compete against some good competition. Hopefully this will better prepare us for our next meet we have in a couple weeks at home." UWF head coach

The Argos will host No. 11 Delta State and Division III powerhouse Emory University for their next meet on Saturday, January 19
th at the UWF Aquatics Center. West Florida will be celebrating Senior Day at the swim meet, since it will be the last home swim meet of the season for the Argonauts.
