PENSACOLA, Fla. – The University of West Florida Swimming and Diving program was named a 2025 Fall Scholar All-America team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) on Tuesday for their achievements in the classroom and pool so far this season.
CSCAA executive director Samantha Barany said of the honor, "These student-athletes continue to set a standard for excellence by succeeding at the highest level both in the pool and in the classroom, and the CSCAA is proud to recognize their dedication and achievement."
Teams receiving this honor must have an average GPA of 3.0 or higher in the fall. 709 teams representing 414 institutions, totaling 16,421student-athletes in all, were named to the team.
The Argos earned a collective 3.71 GPA for the fall semester.
"I am so proud of our athletes for being named to the Scholar All-America Team," said head Coach
Phil Kraus. "It is a testament to our dedication, discipline, and belief that success is something that happens through hard work in the classroom and in the pool. It is another indication that at UWF, we build champions for life!"
The team has its final regular-season meet against Tulane, Saturday at 11 a.m. This is their senior day meet.
