Gulf South Conference Pitcher of the Week (3/1 and 4/19)

2016: Posted a 2.60 ERA in 34 games in the circle, leading the team with 20 wins, 172 innings pitched, 164 strikeouts, and a .222 opponent batting average, all of which ranked in the top five in the GSC... Also led UWF with 9 home runs and a .562 slugging percentage, while driving in 40 RBIs... Named an All-South Region and All-GSC utility player for her efforts in the circle and in the batters box... Twice named the GSC Pitcher of the Week, on March 1 and April 19... Threw four one-hitters as a senior, including a shutout against then-No. 18 Valdosta State in which she struck out 10 batters... Finished her career fourth all-time in UWF history in strikeouts per game (6.48).

2015: Made 20 appearances in the circle for UWF and finished second on the team with 16 starts... Totaled a 4-10 record in her first season at UWF... Compiled a 3.83 ERA in 84 innings with six complete games and one shutout... Second on the team with 73 strikeouts and only walked 34 batters... Held opponents to a .278 batting average... Finished 10th in the GSC in strikeouts and fourth in batters struck out looking... Also saw time at the plate totaling 18 at bats and five hits with one home run and one RBI... Struck out a career high nine batters and only allowed two hits against Delta State on April 25.

2012-2014: (Wabash Valley JC) Chapman attended Wabash Valley Junior College… Was named the 2014 all-region 24 MVP… Was selected as a second team All-American after being ranked fourth in the nation in strikeouts and fifth in the nation in wins… Led team to 2014 GRAC Conference Champions, and a second place finish in Region 24… Recorded 230 strikeouts en route to a 26-6 record with a 1.53 ERA in 2014.

High School: Attended Boonville High School in Indiana, where she lettered all four years as a pitcher and first baseman… Won the Big Eight Conference Championship all four years… Was selected for the Indiana All Star Team her senior year after being named the first team all-state MVP… ERA was .77 with 221 strikeouts her senior year. 

Personal: Daughter of Kelly and Stasey Chapman…Sister of Kelsey and Cameron… Enjoys sports and outdoor activities and also being around family and friends…Plans to major in Social Work.
