2021 (Sr.): Started all 49 games for UWF at shortstop, setting career highs in runs (29) and home runs (4)... Led GSC with 12 sacrifice bunts... Hit .255 and slugged .372, with 35 hits and 4 doubles... Tied career highs in double and walks (15)... Had 9 multi-hit games and 3 games with multiple RBIs... Went 6-11 with 7 RBIs, 5 runs scored, a double, and two home runs in series against West Alabama (2/19-20)... Hit game-winning home run in 6th inning against West Alabama (2/20)... Named GSC Player of the Week on 3/23, after going 7-for-9 in series against Christian Brothers, with five runs scored, a home run, and four RBIs, while slugging 1.111 in the series... Had 5-game hitting streak from 2/19-24, with multiple hits in three of those games.
2020 (Jr.): Started in all 26 games for UWF in her junior season, with a .296 batting average... Led GSC in assists (60) and sacrifice flies (3), and ranked eighth in stolen bases (11)... Posted a .326 on-base percentage and a .444 slugging percentage, with four doubles, a triple, and two home runs... Had five multi-hit games on the year, which was the third-most on the team... Hit first home of the year against Delta State on 2/29, and added another against Christian Brothers on 3/5... Went 5-for-6 with two RBIs, three runs, a double, and a home run in series against Christian Brothers... Had a six-game hitting streak from 2/22-3/3, when she hit .400 (8-20) with five RBIs, seven runs, a double, and a home run... Had a stolen base in each of the first three games of the season, at the Gulf Shores Invitational against No. 9 Florida Tech, Nova Southeastern, and No. 25 Saint Leo. Â
2019 (So.): Made 55 starts at shortstop for UWF, batting .299 with a .445 slugging percentage... Added 4 doubles, 5 triples, and 2 home runs... Hit .309 in Gulf South Conference play... Ranked 36th in Division II with 5 triples... Recorded 9 multi-hit games, including a 3-for-4 day in season-opener against Saint Leo... Had 7 games with multiple RBIs... Hit .368 and slugged .500 from the 9-spot in the batting order... Hit .375 (3-8) with a double and two RBIs in the GSC Tournament... Batted .394 with two outs, .333 with runners in scoring position, and .429 with the bases loaded during the year... Added 11 two-out RBIs... Went 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs, a double, and two runs scored against Christian Brothers (2/16)... Hit first home run of the year against Eckerd (2/2) at the Gulf Coast Invitational... Had a 2-for-3 day with 2 RBIs against Auburn Montgomery (2/23)... Brought in game-tying run with a single against Lee in series opener (4/12).
2018 (Fr.): Played 35 games and made 34 starts as a freshman... Hit .303 with two doubles, a triple, two home runs and 16 RBIs... Second among UWF freshmen with .416 slugging percentage and .356 OBP... Had a 3-hit game in first career start, against Nova Southeastern (2/9), and she also had her first career run scored, RBI and stolen base in that game... Hit first career home run against Alabama Huntsville (3/25) in a 7-6 win... Had 6-game hitting streak from 3/24-4/7, hitting .450 with 9 hits, 5 RBIs, 3 multi-hit games and a home run in that time... Hit .375 with a triple and a stolen base in series against Union (3/3-4)... Hit game-tying home run in sixth inning of GSC Tournament win over Delta State (5/4)... Had 6 multi-hit games on the year and three multi-RBI games... Had .565 on-base percentage when leading off an inning... Ranked fourth on the team with 7 stolen bases... Hit .333 with bases empty.
High School: Named Clay County Player of the Year in 2015... Two-time All-State player at Oak Leaf HS in Orange Park, and three-time all-county... Hit .360 with 35 hits and 28 RBI at OLHS as a senior... Her team at Oak Leaf HS reached the Florida state semifinals in 2015, and was named the No. 1 team in the nation by MaxPreps in 2016.
Personal: Daughter of Marilou Harrison and Luis Garcia... Has one sibling, Luis... Father played minor and Major League Baseball from 1993-2002, with the Detroit Tigers, St. Louis Cardinals and Pittsburgh Pirates... Played baseball through 7th grade... At 10 years old, hit a home run over the Green Monster in Cooperstown, New York, becoming one of the first girls to do so... Enjoys dancing, writing and cooking.
