2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-District
2021 (Sr.): Made 48 starts at first base for UWF, setting career highs in batting (.364), runs (27), hits (52), doubles (12), home runs (7), RBIs (32), and slugging (.608)... Ranked second in the GSC in sacrifice flies (4), third in doubles (12), seventh in hits (52), 10th in total bases (87), and 15th in batting (.364)... Ranked second on the team in batting, hits, doubles, and slugging, and was third in home runs, total bases, and on-base percentage (.403)... Had a .990 fielding percentage and played a part in 18 double plays -- the most in the GSC... Hit first career home run against Hillsdale (2/13)... Went 5-for-9 in series against Mississippi College (3/5-6), with 3 RBIs, 3 runs, 3 walks, and a home run... Went 3-for-4 against West Georgia (4/23), with 4 RBIs, 2 doubles, and a home run... Had at least one hit in six of UWF's seven postseason games, going 9-26 (.346).
2020 GSC Spring Academic Honor Roll
2020 (Jr.): Appeared in 20 games and made 16 starts... Hit .268 and tallied 3 doubles on the year... Picked up 4 multi-hit games... Went 2-for-4 in season-opener against #9 Florida Tech, and went 2-for-3 against Saint Leo (2/2) the next day... Added multi-hit games against Florida Southern (2/9) and West Alabama (2/22), when she had a double and an RBI... Hit .273 in conference play, with a double and 4 runs scored.
2019 (So.): Made 23 starts at first base and played 35 games... Set career highs in runs (11), hits (23), doubles (5), RBIs (7), slugging (.423), walks (12), and OBP (.442)... Drove in two runs against Delta State (3/23)... Had a two-hit day against Union (4/6)... Recorded 4 multi-hit games... Posted .765 on-base percentage when leading off an inning... Hit .345 with the bases empty.
2018 GSC Spring Academic Honor Roll
2018 (Fr.): Played in 27 games and made 11 starts... Had 5 RBIs, drew 5 walks, and scored 6 runs on the year... Had four-game hitting streak (2/3-10) to start her career, hitting .625 over her first 8 at-bats... Got first career hit and RBI against Tuskegee (2/3)... Had first career extra-base hit and stolen base against Nova Southeastern (2/9)... Picked up two multi-hit games as a freshman, against Barry (2/10) and West Alabama (2/17)... Hit .333 when coming off the bench... Hit .348 (8-23) with runners on base.
High School: Played softball and volleyball for four years at Riverview HS... Named softball Offensive Player of the Year as a junior and a senior.
Personal: Daughter of Jack and Amy Merrill... Has one sibling, Lauren... Her mom Amy played volleyball at the University of Memphis.
