2009-2010: Finished as the Argos’ top runner twice during the season, including an overall race championship at the MC Watson/Ford Invitational in Clinton, Miss., with a 27:27 … Was also the top Argonaut finisher at the Cal State Fullerton season opener, covering the 8k course in 27:15 … Raced to a 34:03 time in the 10k race at the NCAA South regional … Earned the Most Promising Freshman award during the fall season … In the spring, posted a 16:42 performance at the LSU Invitational 5000 meters in Baton Rouge.
High School: Led the Pine Forest Eagles to an eighth place team finish at the class 3A state cross country championships with his fourth place performance in 15:48 ... He followed up that performance with an impressive 16:03 run at the Footlocker South Regional National Invitational on a challenging course in North Carolina ... Finished second overall in the Florida All-Star race in Tallahassee, which included all the top seniors in the state ... Was the individual champion in the ECA-ROSA County Championships with a time of 15:53 and followed that with a 16:02 performance in the District meet for fourth place ...
