2025 (So.): Opened season placing 29^th out of 153 at UNA Invitational in men’s 8K with 26:28.3…Placed 2^nd at Argonaut Invitational with 26:28.3 finish in 8K…Finished 4^th at Firehawk Invitational with 25:54.7 8K time…Faced D1 competition at FSU Invitational and placed 85^th with a 26:42.1 time, second best among UWF runners…finished regular season with 25:35.8 time in 8K at UAH Chargers XC Invitational to place 49^th overall and the fastest Argo finisher…Ran a season best and personal best 24:54.2 in 8K at GSC Championships to place 20^th and earn Second Team All-Conference honors…Ran personal best 33:07.8 in men’s 10K and placed 33^rd out of 128 at NCAA South Regionals to end sophomore year.

2024 GSC Fall Academic Honor Roll

2024 (Fr): Opened season with second-fastest time of freshman season at UNA Invitational in 8K, running 26:27.2…Placed 6^th at Argonaut Invitational running a 27:14.2…Placed 17^th at Belhaven Invitational with a time of 26:39.8…Placed 299^th with 27:10.5 in massive field of ranked competitors at Lewis Crossover…Ran season best and career best 8K at GSC Championships with 25:37.8 time to place 30^th…Finished 50^th in first career 10K as an Argo at NCAA Regionals in Huntsville, Al, running a 33:25.8.

Personal: Parents are Laura and Michael Chastain…Has nine siblings – Savannah, Evan, Benjamin, Joel, Ivy, Anna-Laura, Jeanette, Trinity, and Liberty…Ran Track and Cross Country in high school…Siblings Ivy, Benjamin, and Joel all ran track or cross country  at the collegiate level, sister Trinity player soccer at Clayton State…Okaloosa County Champion and Runner of the Year…2X Cross Country District Division Champion and Regional Runner Up…Plans to work as construction manager and earn contracting license to start own contracting business post-grad…FCA Ambassador, worked at Food bank to volunteer…hobbies include surfing, skateboarding, swimming, hiking, and off-roading.
