2023 GSC Fall Academic Honor Roll

2023 (Jr.): Competed in six meets in his third season with the Argos...Ran 28:51.75 at UNA Invitational (9/9)...Completed UAH Charger Invitational with time of 28:25 (10/7)...Placed 87th overall at GSC Championships (10/21)

2022 GSC Fall Academic Honor Roll

2022 (So.): Ran in all seven meets for the Argos in his sophomore year...Opened year with third-place finish among Argonauts with 28:55.93 at Covered Bridge Open (9/2)...Had top-40 overall finish in following week at UNA Cross Country Invitational (9/10)...Ran season-best 27:31.3 at FSU Invitational (10/7)...Crossed finish-line 76th overall with time of 27:56.50 at GSC Championships (11/5)...Posted time of 35:25.4 to close season at 10K NCAA South Region Championships.

2021 GSC Fall Academic Honor Roll

2021 (Fr.): Competed in all six races for UWF in his freshman campaign... Ran a season-best 29:48.44 at the GSC Championships (10/23)... Also had his best placing of the year at the conference meet... Ran a 39.23.27 in the 10K at the NCAA South Region Championships... Ran a 23:46.94 in his first collegiate race, a 4-mile run at the Memphis Twilight. 

High School: Ran cross country and track, and played soccer for four years at MHS... A three-year captain for the cross country team, and a captain in soccer as a sophomore and junior... Ran the 1600, 800, 4x800, and 5K, and was a center back and left back in soccer... Named Team MVP.

Personal: Son of Marisela and Jeremy Waddell... Has one sibling, Nicolas... Hopes to apply to medical school and become an endocrinologist after graduating... Member of Yearbook, Beta Club, Quill and Scroll, and the National Honor Society... Enjoys playing soccer and basketball and roller skating in his free time.
