2015: Ran a season’s best time of 27:41.00 at the Gulf Coast Stampede in the 8,000-meter race…. Placed fourth for the Argo’s and 14th overall…Placed 74th overall (29:05.61) at the GSC Championship meet in the 8,000-meter race.

2013-14 GSC All-Academic Team

Fall 2014: Ran a personal and season best in the 8k at the Valdosta State Cross Country Challenge, finishing 17th overall ina  time of 26:28.70... finished second for UWF and 40th overall at the Florida State Invitational in a time of 27:09.26... finished 35th overall at the GSC Championships in 27:36.25... placed 62nd at the NCAA South Regional, finishing in 35:07.36 in the 10k.

Fall 2013: Placed 13th overall (28:25) in the 8k at the Watson Ford Invitational … Placed 34th overall (27:29.36) in the 8k at the Gulf South Conference Championships … Placed 41st overall (28:22) in the 8k at the Gulf Coast Stampede … Placed 44th overall (29:09) in the 8k at the Pre-Regional Meet … Finished 69th overall (27:15.67) in the 8k at the Florida State Invitational

2012-2013: Finished 54th overall (27:27) on an 8,000-meter course at the USF Golden Gate Invite … Placed 24th overall (27:56.90) on an 8,000-meter course at the Fleet Feet Invitational  … Finished 46th overall (28:46.10) on an 8,000-meter course at the Gulf Coast Stampede … Placed 124th overall (30:12.70) on an 8,000-meter course at the Florida State Invitational.

High School: Finished 29th in the 2011 FHSAA state cross country meet … Placed third in the 1,600-meters in the 2012 regional meet … Runner-up in the 1,600- meters at the district meet … Finished 10th in the 1,600-meters at the 2012 FHSAA state track meet … Named team captain of his cross country team as a senior … Named four-time most valuable player for cross country team … Set personal bests in the 400-meters (0:52) … 800-meters (1:57), 1,600-meters (4:23.69), 3,200- meters (9:42.55) and the 5,000-meters (15:55.97) … Played soccer, and ran track and field and cross country.

Personal: Son of Judy and John Slupecki … Has one sister, Rebecca … Marine biology major … member of SAAC... Enjoys fishing, duck hunting, running and paintball... Wants to train for the 2016 Olympics post-graduation.
