2016: Finished first for UWF in every event... Claimed his third career All-South Region and third All-GSC first team nods... Ran a 32:33.6 at the NCAA DII South Region Championships, which was good for a 14th-place finish... Finished 10th overall at the GSC Championships, with a 25:41.41... Took first collegiate win at the Gulf Coast Stampede, running a 26:54.60, and followed that with another individual win at the FSU Inviational, with a 26:04.4... Helped UWF to team victories at each of those meets.

2015: A star runner for the University of West Florida… Finished first for five of the team’s seven meets this season… Ran a season best time of 25:26.23 in the 8,000-meter race at the GSC Championship meet…Is the first men’s runner to qualify for the NCAA DII National Championship since Michael Padillla in 2006…Ran a personal best time at the national meet with a time of 31:10.7 in the 10,000-meter race placing 81st overall.

Fall 2014: Did not run.

Spring 2014: Finished 26th (15:51.3) in the 5k at the FSU Invitational... finished 3rd (9:05.78) in the 3k at the USA Invite

Fall 2013: Placed 4th overall and 1st on the team (26:09.85) at the Gulf South Conference Championships … Placed 4th overall (27:09) in the 8k at the Watson Ford Invitational … Placed 12th overall and 1st on the team (33:23.80) in the 10k at the NCAA DII South Regional Championships … Placed 13th overall (27:46) in the 8k at the Pre-Regional Meet … Placed 14th overall (27:08)  in the 8k at the Gulf Coast Stampede … Saw his best time of (25:58.69) at the Florida State Invitational, which earned him an 18th place finish in the 8k.

2012-13: Ran unattached at the Gulf Coast Stampede and placed 50th with a 8,000-meter time of 28:59… had a strong spring track season, finishing as UWF’s top runner in the 5,000-meter run at four different meets… finished second in the 5k with a time of 15:19 at the FSU Seminole Invitational… set the UWF freshman record with a 5k time of 15:12 at the Auburn War Eagle Invitational.

High School: Four-year all-district, all-region and all-state selection for cross country… fastest runner in the Citrus Country for four years… two-time district champion in the 1600-meter run (2010, 2011)… two-time district runner-up in the 3,200-meter run (2010, 2011)… two-time district champion individually in tennis… went undefeated his sophomore year in tennis (14-0)… four-year member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes… two-year member of the Future Business Leaders of American.

Personal: Son of Cherise and Bruce Wenger… has one brother, Ben… psychology major… enjoys sports and outdoor adventure activities… was born in the country of Malawi in southeast Africa… lived in Brazil for six years.
