Monica Meadows joined the University of West Florida softball program as a Graduate Assistant Coach in 2014. She spent her undergraduate years playing at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. Meadows set the career record for hits (259) and doubles (62) for the Tars after her illustrious career as an outfielder and pitcher. Meadows led the Tars to the NCAA regional finals in 2012, the furthest a Rollins team had ever made it in the NCAA playoffs, after an impressive 40-9 record.Â
Meadows brings a knowledge of how to succeed at the NCAA Division II level and some specialized knowledge of the local area, having grown up just down the road from Pensacola in Daphne, Al. She played her high school softball at nearby Baker High School where she led the Honeybees to the Alabama 6A State Championships in senior year.
