2025 (Jr.): Appeared in 43 games with 39 starts in the circle, the seventh most in program history…led the pitching staff and GSC with a 24-8 record and a team-best 2.11 ERA across 228.2 innings pitched…recorded 24 complete games, including 9 shutouts (most in GSC)…struck out 126 batters while allowing only 69 earned runs…held opponents to a .251 batting average…picked off 2 base runners and finished the season with 1.000 fielding percentage on 56 total chances…Opened season with five scoreless innings against Barry, adding five K’s…Pitched two shutouts vs Christian Brothers in series from 2/22-2/23…allowed just two hits and threw four K’s in shutout vs Union on 3/22…threw for season-high 9 K’s and shutout against West Alabama on 4/12…allowed only four hits in 3-0 shutout win over Valdosta State on 4/25

Personal: Stduying health sciences at UWF...parents are Jennifer and James Guffey...has one sibling, Austin Guffey...Played Volleyball and Softball at Wewahitchka High School...Started at Pitcher and first base...1.19 career ERA, 54 wins and 475 innings pitched, 743 strikeouts...2019, 2021, 2022 Team Pitcher of the Year...2021 and 2022 team MVP...2019 Second-Team All-State...2021 and 2022 First team All-State...Played first two seasons of college softball at the College of Central Florida...Plans to begin career in dental hygiene after graduation...enjoys hunting, fishing, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
