2024 (Jr.): Started four games with 14 appearances…Played as outfielder with some utilization as a pinch hitter and pinch runner…tallied two hits, six runs, a double, and an RBI in 15 at bats…Scored two runs in win against West Georgia on 2/2…totaled three putouts and two assists on the year.
2023 GSC Spring Academic Honor Roll
2023 (So.): Made 11 appearances and one start in her sophomore season... Picked up hits against Delta State (3/4) and Spring Hill (4/26), when she also scored a run and had two RBIs.
2022 Easton NFCA Scholar Athlete
2022 (Fr.): Played in five games, with six at-bats on the year... Scored one run against Valdosta State (4/24) and turned in a critical at-bat in that game, scoring the game-tying run.
High School: Played softball and volleyball at MCHS... Was a pitcher and played middle infield in softball, and was an outside hitter for the volleyball team... Career .326 batter, with a .424 on-base percentage, 66 RBIs, 39 steals, 2 home runs, and 157 strikeouts in 144 innings pitched... Second team All-State as a senior, and a two-time All-Big Bend honoree.
Personal: Daughter of Sam and Michelle Wetherington... Her cousin, Becky Brandies, played softball at Florida Atlantic University... Would like to work in the environmental science field after graduation, possibly for Science Application International Corporation or as an environmental journalist for National Geographic... Was a member of Beta Club, FFA, FCCLA, National Honor Society, and NSHSS in high school... Enjoys reading, listening to music, and playing with her dog in her free time... Skipped the seventh grade... Won special recognition in microbiology at the Florida State Science Fair in 2018.
