2021 (Jr.): Made 35 starts and played in 36 games for UWF at second base... Had career highs in hits (11), doubles (4), and sacrifice bunts (5)... Hit .333 (4-12) in the postseason, and ended the year on a three-game hitting streak against Valdosta State in the NCAA Regional... Had game-winning RBI single in 8th inning against Alabama Huntsville on 2/27... Hit doubles against Hillsdale (2/13), Spring Hill (2/24), Mississippi College (3/6), and Christian Brothers (3/21)... Ended season hitting .229 with a .947 fielding percentage.
2020 GSC Spring Academic Honor Roll
2020 (So.): Started all 26 games for West Florida, and hit .270 on the year... Went 2-for-3 in season-opener against #9 Florida Tech, with a run, an RBI, and a stolen base... Had a three-hit day against West Alabama (2/22), with a run and an RBI... Had another multi-hit game in season finale against West Georgia (3/8), going 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs, 2 doubles, and a run scored... Hit .292 in conference play, with a .375 slugging percentage.
2019 (Fr.): Made 47 starts and played 50 games... Played 2nd base in 47 games... Recorded .983 fielding percentage, which led all GSC second basemen... Hit first career home run against Christian Brothers (2/16), when she went 3-for-3 with a run scored and 3 RBIs... Scored game-winning run in NCAA South 1 Regional game against Tampa, and another game-winning run in the NCAA South Super Regional against Florida Tech... Had season-high 6 putouts in NCAA Championship Quarterfinal against Grand Valley State.
High School: Played volleyball, basketball, and softball as Ponchatoula HS... All-District Honorable Mention 2015, All-District First Team 2016 & 2017, All-State Honorable Mention 2016 & 2017, Class Team Academic All-State 2018... Won district championship in softball in 2015, and helped lead basketball team to a state championship in 2015 and district championships in 2015, 2017, and 2018.
Personal: Daughter of Autumn and Bryce Vining... Has two siblings, Scarlett and Ashton... Hopes to attend medical school after graduation to become a pediatric surgeon... Member of the student council at Ponchatoula HS, Interact, the Spanish Club, the National Honor Society, and was a volunteer for the Special Olympics and the Walk to End Alzheimer's... Enjoys playing with her dogs, going to the movies, camping, and spending time with her family.
