2017 GSC Fall Academic Honor Roll

2017 (Jr.): Recorded two top-50 finishes, at the Falcon Classic (35th) and the FSU Invitational (43rd)... Ran a season-best 20:26.78 at the GSC Championships and clocked a 26:11.9 at the NCAA South Regional Championships.

2016 (So.): Finished at 21:42.60 in 16th place at the Gulf Coast Stampede... Posted a personal-best 20:02.95 at the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Arkansas... Improved her 6K time at the NCAA DII South Regional Championships by nearly two minutes, clocking a 25:23.97.

2015 (Fr.): Ran a collegiate personal record (21:54.30) at the FSU Invitational in the 5,000-meter race…Ran a season-best time of 27:12.27 in the 6,000-meter race at the Watson Ford Invitational.

High School: Competed in cross country, track and field and weightlifting at St. Cloud High School … Set personal records in the 5k (20:03), 800-meters (2:29) and 1600-meters (5:54) … 2013 and 2014 all-conference athlete and all-district athlete … Voted most-improved athlete in 2013 … Member of the cross country conference championship team (2012-14) … Member of the cross country district championship team in 2013 … Cross country team made it to the state finals in 2013 and 2014 … Member of the conference championship team for track and field (2012-14), district and conference champions for 4x800-meters (2014-15) and state finals appearance in 2015.
 
Personal: Daughter of Eric Napoleon and Teresita Cardenas … Has one sister, Katherine … Father competed at the collegiate and national level for Puerto Rico in baseball, volleyball and track and field (800, 1500 and 3000-meters) … Competed at the Pan American games and scrimmage races against other Caribbean nations such as Cuba, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic … Political Science Pre-Law major … Post-graduation plan is to attend law school … She was president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes during senior year of high school … Member of the French Club during freshman and sophomore year … Volunteered at her local nursing home as well as her churches nursery … Volunteers from time-to-time helping her high school cross country and track coach with coaching of the younger kids … Enjoys photography, painting, drawing/sketching, writing as well as doing make-up on myself and others.
