GSC Runner of the Week (9/5/18)

2018 (Sr.): Became fourth runner in program history to earn All-GSC honors three times... Earned All-GSC honors with an 18:52.36 at the GSC Championships, placing 16th... Earned first career GSC Runner of the Week award after running an 18:46.53 at the Covered Bridge Open to start the year... Ran personal-best 18:30.9 at the Little Rock Invitational (10/13)... Ran a 23:22.24 in the NCAA South Region Championships (11/17)... Finished in top 30 in the field in four races, including three finishes in the top 16.

2017 (Jr.): Finished first for UWF in all five races, placing in the top 25 overall in every meet... Ran a season-best 18:41.36 at the GSC Championships, claiming All-GSC honors with an 11th-place finish... Finished 17th at the NCAA South Regional, running a 22:53.2 to earn All-South Region status... Recorded two top-10 finishes on the year, at the Falcon Classic (9th) and the FSU Invitational (7th)... Became 7th student-athlete in UWF history to be a two-time All-GSC runner... 12th NCAA All-South Region runner in UWF history.

2016 All-Gulf South Conference

2016 (So.): Earned her first All-GSC spot, finishing 19th overall at the GSC Championships while running a 19:19.83... Recorded personal-best 19:14.85 at the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Arkansas... Finished 32nd in the field at the NCAA DII South Regional Championships, with a personal-best 6K time of 23:57.02... Was top finisher for UWF in five of the team's six events.

2016 ADA Academic Achievement Award

2015 (Fr.): Was a top finisher for the Argonauts in all of their races…Finished first for the Argos in both the GSC Championship meet and the NCAA Division II South Region Championship…Ran a personal record at the GSC Champion meet with a time of 19:38.10 in the 5,000-meter race.

High School: Attended Maranatha Christian High School and Leon High School.
 
Personal: Daughter of James and Diane Cox … Has one sister, Michelle … Nursing major … Set personal records in the 5k (19:36), 10k (41:40) and the half marathon (1:32:30) … Named 2014 Gulf Winds Track Club Female Runner of the Year.
