2026 (So.): 36 starts with 45 appearances in 2026...game two starter at third base... Recorded 15 runs scored, 12 hits and 8 RBI, adding 7 walks, 7 stolen bases and 2 doubles… Handled 118 total chances with 88 assists and 30 putouts… Made a season-high 6 assists at Montevallo on May 15… Collected a season-high 2 total bases in two games vs. Barry on Feb. 1 (at Barry, vs. Barry), recording a double in each and also logging a season-high 4 plate appearances… Scored a season-high 2 runs in two games at Georgia College on Feb. 13, adding a season-high 2 RBI in one game and a season-high 2 walks in the other… Recorded a season-high 3 putouts and stole a season-high 2 bases at Barry on Jan. 31

2025 GSC Spring Academic Honor Roll

2025 (Fr.): Started all 55 games at shortstop in 2025…hit .227 with 25 hits, 16 runs, 4 doubles, 2 triples, and 9 RBIs…stole 6 bases in 7 attempts and contributed 4 sacrifice hits… 73 putouts and 103 assists…turned 4 double plays defensively…Recorded a 2-3 day at the plate with a run, a triple, and an RBI against Christian Brothers.

Personal: Studying exercise science at UWF...parents are Martha and Chris Cornelius...siblings are Colby and Chandler Cornelius...Played shortstop and third base in time at Mckeel Academy and Bartow High School...2020/2021 Freshman of the Year at Mckeel Academy...3X all county honors...earned Offensive Player of the Year in her senior year at Bartow HS, hitter of the year in Polk County...helped Bartow make it to state final game in 2024...graduated top 5% in senior class with 4.2 GPA and honors distinction.
