Kyle Rank is currently serving as the Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning for the University of West Florida where he oversees design and implementation for Men's Golf, Women's Golf, Softball and Men's Soccer while assisting with Football. Kyle was promoted to full time Assistant Strength Coach in 2019 after completing two years as a Graduate Assistant at UWF under Coach Kent Morgan. Throughout his time at West Florida, he has worked with multiple different sports, including the acting Assistant Strength Coach for the 2019 National Champions Argo Football team.Â
During his time at UWF, Kyle also completed his Masters Degree in Exercise Science and is currently an adjunct professor in the same department. Kyle has developed the curriculum for two classes, Designing Resistance Training Programs and Applied Resistance Training, which help undergraduates develop competency and proficiency in designing and coaching inside of a collegiate weight room. He also has been an author/contributor on numerous peer reviewed journal publications, including the Journal of Biomechanics and Journal of Science in Sport and Exercise.Â
Kyle started his coaching journey with an internship with EXOS in Gulf Breeze in 2016 after a 5-season career as a professional ice hockey player. He currently holds CSCCa -SCCC, NSCA - CSCS and USAW Level 1 certifications.
