Patrick Corrigan was named the Associate Head Coach for men's basketball at the University of West Florida in April 2026.

In this role, Corrigan is instrumental in supporting head coach Tanner Smith across all facets of the program. His responsibilities include player development, practice planning, game preparation, scouting, recruiting, and managing the day-to-day operations of the team. Additionally, he plays a vital role in mentoring student-athletes, monitoring their academic progress, and fostering a competitive team culture both on and off the court.

Before joining the University of West Florida, Corrigan was the head men's basketball coach at Ferrum College from June 2022 to April 2026. During his tenure, he led the team with a focus on strategic game management and player mentorship.

Corrigan's career is marked by a diverse range of coaching experiences. He served as an assistant men's basketball coach at Cal Poly Pomona from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, he was the Director of College Placement and a UA Coach for West Coast Elite AAU from 2020 to 2021. His earlier experience includes roles at Ferrum College as an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach and Associate Head Coach from 2018 to 2020, and at UNC Charlotte as a Graduate Assistant and Associate Director of Basketball Operations from 2013 to 2018.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Math and Psychology from Hampden-Sydney College, obtained in 2013. As a point guard for Hampden-Sydney’s basketball team, Corrigan contributed to the team’s success in winning the ODAC regular season championship and advancing to the NCAA Tournament in 2013.
