TAMPA, Fla. – The University of West Florida volleyball team will be making its' ninth consecutive trip to the NCAA South Regional hosted and will face No. 3 seed Palm Beach Atlantic in the NCAA South Regional Quarterfinals on Thursday, Nov. 20 at noon ET. The Argonauts were selected as the No. 6 seed after finishing the season with a 24-7 overall record.
This will mark the first time in UWF program history that West Florida will face Palm Beach Atlantic.
NINE STRAIGHT NCAA REGIONAL APPEARANCESThe University of West Florida volleyball team will make its' ninth consecutive trip to the NCAA South Regional this week. Last season, UWF made it all the way to the NCAA South Regional Championship after defeating Eckerd in the quarterfinals and Rollins in the semifinals.
SCOTTY LOOKING FOR SECOND IN CAREER BLOCKSUWF senior
Sarah Scott moved into third place on the career blocks list at West Florida last week. Scott currently has 296 career blocks and needs 11 blocks to move into second place in career blocks at West Florida.
FOUR ARGOS NAMED TO ALL-GSC TEAMWest Florida senior
Sarah Scott earned first team All-GSC honors for the second consecutive season en route to her third career all-conference honor. UWF sophomore
Cora Bidlack was named to the All-GSC Second Team, while West Florida freshmen
Katy Kuhlmeier and
Monique StCyr also earned second team all-conference honors.
