CLEVELAND, Tenn. - The West Florida women's basketball team travels to travels to Cleveland, Tenn. and Rome, Ga. to play Lee and Shorter, respectively, Jan. 29 and 31. The Argonauts will be looking to complete the season sweep against both teams after winning games against them in Pensacola, Fla. in December.
In the last meeting between the teams, UWF defeated Lee 58-52 Dec. 13 and the Argos downed Shorter 61-51 Dec. 11.
UWF is in second in the GSC standings, two wins behind Union (Tenn.) and one win ahead of Lee and Delta State. Lee is ineligible to compete in the postseason during its transition to NCAA Division II and the GSC.

Brewer Earns 6th GSC Freshman of Week
Toni Brewer was named the GSC Freshman of the Week for the sixth time this season. Brewer has recorded double-digit points in 10 consecutive games and all but two games this season. She's scored 20 or more in three straight games and five times this season. She's also recorded a double-double in four straight games.
