BOX SCORE HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The No. 6-ranked University of West Florida women's tennis team defeated Alabama Huntsville 5-1 on the road Sunday afternoon. West Florida (4-0, 3-0 GSC) completes the weekend sweep over Gulf South Conference opponents en route to its fourth straight win to start the season.

Hannah Toro (London, England) fell to Marleen Gort 2-6, 1-6 at number one singles.
West Florida will next face NAIA powerhouse Auburn Montgomery in the team's home opener on Tuesday, February 16 at 1 p.m. at the Ralph "Skeeter" Carson Tennis Complex. AUM won the program's 14
th NAIA National Championship last season and currently boasts four players national ranked in singles in NAIA. UWF will then host GSC opponent Lee on Saturday, February 20 at 10 a.m.
