th straight victory over a GSC opponent with the win over Lee.

Giovana Patitucci (Sao Paulo, Brazil) improved to 2-1 on the year by defeating Marta Garcia Nieto and Maclain Yowarsky 8-1 at number two doubles.

Lisa May (Oviedo, Fla./Oviedo HS) defeated Morgan Friedlander and Laura Beth Hardesty 8-1 at number three doubles.

Dianna Vlad (Oberhausen, Germany) improved to 4-1 on the year by defeating Tondi 6-3, 4-6, 10-8 in third-set tiebreaker at number one singles while senior
Sarai Flores (Mexico City, Mexico) won her fifth straight match by sweeping Nieto 6-0, 6-0 at number two singles.
Freshman
Heather Mixon (New Iberia, La./Catholic HS) improved to 5-0 on the year by defeating Grzegrzolka 6-2, 6-1 at number three singles while Mantilla improved to 2-0 by sweeping Yowarsky 6-0, 6-0 at number four singles.
Sophomore
Erica Lilja Eriksson (Kristinehamn, Sweden) got a win in her first singles match of the season by defeating Krista Good 7-5, 6-1 at number five singles while Patitucci improved to 2-0 on the year with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Friedlander at number six singles.
West Florida will travel to Valdosta, Georgia to face a pair of ranked Sunshine State Conference opponents next weekend. UWF will face No. 5 Lynn on Saturday, February 27 at 10 a.m. before facing No. 37 Florida Tech on Sunday, February 38 at 8 a.m.
