Hannah Toro (London, England) defeated Anna Gotz and Hui-I Huang 8-4 at number one doubles.
Senior
Nina Bubelova (Povazska Bystrica, Slovakia) and junior
Paula Lopez (Tucumán, Argentina) improved to 9-1 on the year by sweeping Kathryn Bock and Paula Ortiz Couder 8-0 at number two doubles. With the win, Bubelova notches her 75 career doubles victory.
Freshman
Dianna Vlad (Oberhausen, Germany) and freshman
Valeria Mantilla (Bogotá, Colombia) defeated Meena Bennett and Giovanna Tomiotto 8-2 at number three doubles.
No. 32 Dikosavljevic swept Huang 6-0, 6-0 at number one singles while Lopez improved to 8-2 on the year by defeating Ortiz Couder 6-1, 6-4 at number three singles.
Senior
Sarai Flores (Mexico City, Mexico) defeated Bock 6-0, 6-2 at number five singles while freshman
Heather Mixon (New Iberia, La./Catholic HS) improved to 9-0 on the year by defeating Bennett 6-1, 6-1 at number six singles.
Vlad fell to Tomiotto 5-7, 3-6 at number four singles while Toro retired in the first set against Gotz at number two singles.
West Florida will next face Florida Southern on Friday, March 18 at 2 p.m. before playing No. 27 Rollins on Saturday, March 19 at 10 a.m. UWF will wrap up the road trip on Sunday, March 20 at 9 a.m. with a match against No. 7 Nova Southeastern.
