BOX SCORE
PENSACOLA, Fla. - UWF men's soccer came up short in Sunday's home match against the visiting Spring Hill Badgers.
Spring Hill would score early after Tilman Schober whipped a ball in from the right side to find the head of Ibrahima Ndaw to finish the only goal of the game.
Kameron Bethell and Eric Rivera would both register shots in the first half, but David Born would record the best chance of the game for UWF as he freed himself from his marker in the box to send a diving header just over the bar.
Pressure from UWF late in the game would fall just short of taking the match into extra time.
UWF would outshoot the Badgers eleven to nine. UWF would manage just one shot on target to Spring Hill's eight.
Jacob Murray would have a total of seven saves against the Badgers.
UWF moves to an overall record of 4-6-1.
UWF will take on Christian Brothers in Memphis on Friday at 7:30pm and then take on Union on Sunday at 4:15pm.Â
