PENSACOLA, Fla. - UWF has two regular season matches left in 2017 against GSC opponents Auburn Montgomery and Montevallo. UWF will host Auburn Montgomery at 6:00pm on Thursday. UWF will then host Montevallo on Saturday at 12:30pm.
After two important wins on the road in Tennessee against GSC opponents Christian Brothers and Union, UWF looks for two wins at home to wrap up the 2017 regular season and secure a spot in GSC playoffs with a chance to host. Â Barrett Mills and Pete Love lead UWF to victory over the weekend with game winners against CBU and UU.
Auburn Montgomery has just one win out of their sixteen matches played, with a GSC record of 1-8.
Montevallo has secured a spot in GSC playoffs after going 4-1-4 against conference opponents. Cesare Marconi leads Montevallo in points with seven goals and two assists.
UWF commands their own fate ahead of these final two matches in the regular season. One win will put them past Lee in the standings and into the GSC playoffs.
