PENSACOLA, Fla. - The University of West Florida men's soccer will take on GSC opponents Shorter University and Lee University this weekend.

The Argonauts will face Shorter on Friday at 6:30 ET. The Argonauts will then travel to Lee University on Sunday for a 4:00 ET match.

In the 2016 season UWF battled Shorter to a 1-1 draw, however since 2012 Shorter has just one win against UWF. The Argonauts have outscored Shorter 12-7 in the last five regular season matchups.

Shorter is currently 3-7 overall and 2-3 in the conference with their only GSC wins coming against Union and Delta State.

Lee University is 4-3-2 overall with a 3-2 GSC record under first year head coach, Derek Potteiger.

UWF has split the last two regular season meetings with Lee holding a 3-2 win in 2016 and falling 2-1 in 2015. In last year's 3-2 win over Lee, Kameron Bethell notched one of the three goals that ended Lee's seven game winning streak.

Sean Hoffstatter currently leads UWF with two goals and one assist. Jacob Murray has 25 saves for the Argonauts with a .714 save percentage.
