PENSACOLA, Fla. – The UWF department of intercollegiate athletics has announced that this week's home football against Mississippi College has been moved to Friday, Oct. 6. Kickoff at Blue Wahoos Stadium will remain at 6:00 p.m. Central Time.
 
The decision to move the game ahead by 24 hours was made in conjunction with officials at the Gulf South Conference and Mississippi College due to the forecast track of Tropical Storm Nate.

The following events will NOT take place Friday: Argo Walk, Argo Village (including for purchase tailgate food) and UWF Bookstore sale outside the stadium. UWF apparel will still be available for sale on the concourse.

The game will still be televised over the air and online by Blab TV, and carried by Choice 106.9 FM/WRNE 980 AM. Airtime begins at 5:30 p.m. CT

Parking for the game in all Maritime Park, City Hall and ECUA lots will still require a UWF Football parking pass. Parking in lots 4 (City Hall) and 5 (ECUA Lot) are by permit or $10 pay to park. Fans are reminded that the lots will be in use during normal business hours until 5 p.m. There will not be any organized tailgating at the park. Stadium gates will open at 4 p.m. This information is pending any further updates on the storm.
