PENSACOLA, Fla. – Conference rivals Mississippi College and Delta State will make the trip to Pensacola this weekend for a matchup with the No. 5-ranked University of West Florida women's soccer team. The game against Mississippi College will be under the lights on Friday with a 7:30 pm start, and the Delta State contest will kick off at 3 pm on Sunday.

SOME SCOUTING
* Ranked No. 17 in last week's national poll, Mississippi College will make the trip to Pensacola with a 4-1-1 record on the year after a tough overtime loss to Lee.
* The Choctaws lead the Gulf South Conference with just two goals allowed and a 0.32 GAA through six games, with a 1-0 win over Rollins and working to a 0-0 draw with then-No. 13 North Georgia.
* Delta State has struggled to get much going this season, but the Lady Statesmen's last game was a 2-1 win at Shorter to improve to 1-3 in conference play.
* The Lady Statesmen have been led offensively by Jasmine McGill, who has scored four goals in six games. She scored against Texas A&M International in her first career game, against Lee last Friday, and scored both goals in the win over Shorter on Sunday.

REMEMBER MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE?
* The Lady Choctaws handed UWF its only in-conference loss and scored the only in-conference goal the Argonauts allowed last season, in a 1-0 win in Clinton, Mississippi.
* West Florida got the better end of the things in the GSC Tournament just a week later, when the Argonauts took a 2-0 victory to claim their 10th GSC Championship.

DELTA STATE AT A GLANCE
* UWF has owned the all-time series against Delta State, with a 13-0 record and a 72-4 goal differential against the Lady Statesmen.
* DSU last scored a goal against UWF in 2012.

IN THE RANKINGS
* UWF came in at No. 5 in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll, released on Tuesday. That matches UWF's highest ranking of the year and the team's highest since 2014, when the Argos were ranked No. 2 in the country.
* Fellow GSC member North Alabama is ranked No. 16 in the USC poll, while South Region opponent Embry-Riddle is ranked No. 22 and Nova Southeastern is receiving votes.

A LOT OF GOALS
* The Argonauts have averaged 3.8 goals per game, ranking fifth in the nation for goals per game. The dangerous offense for UWF has been difficult for opponents to shut down, with goals coming from an incredible 10 different student-athletes over the first five games.
* West Florida's 19 goals are the most in the conference this year, and the three goals the Argonauts have allowed are the second-fewest in the league. Those marks give UWF the best goal differential in the GSC (plus-16).
* Having outscored opponents 12-1 over the first three games of the year, UWF's plus-11 goal differential through three matches was one of the best starts in program history. It was the biggest goal differential through the first three games of a season since West Florida outscored Florida Tech, Warner Pacific and Spring Hill 19-0 in 2009.

A QUIX LOOK AT JESSICA
* Freshman Jessica Quixley has quickly established herself as one of the top rookies in the Gulf South Conference this year, with three goals - two of which have been game-winners - in just five games.
* Her three goals and six total points rank second among GSC freshmen, behind only Jasmine McGill of Delta State.
* Quixley's first career goal came against Palm Beach Atlantic on September 3, and she scored in each game last weekend, against West Alabama and Alabama Huntsville.
