Argos set to take on NAIA opponent

PENSACOLA, Fla. - The University of West Florida men's soccer will host NAIA opponent Mobile in its upcoming match on Thursday at 6:00pm.

The Argos are 2-4 overall and 1-3 in conference play. The Argos are coming off a big 5-1 win over Delta State. A spread of goals from Kameron Bethell, Sergio Otalora, Sean Hoffstatter, and Isaiah Lopez overwhelmed the Delta State defense. Sean Hoffstatter currently leads the team with two goals and one assist.

Goalkeeper Jacob Murray allowed just one goal on Sunday against Delta State with 23 saves overall this season and a .719 save percentage.

Mobile is 4-1-1 overall. The Rams took on University of West Alabama trailing 2-1 after double overtime.

In the 2016 season the Rams got the better of the Argonauts by scoring a goal in double overtime to win the game 2-1. UWF topped the Rams in the 2015 season 2-0.
