PENSACOLA, Fla. – UWF will head to the Magnolia State this weekend to finish off their regular season schedule. The first match for the Argos will be against Gulf South Conference opponent, Mississippi College on Thursday afternoon at 1pm CT. The winner of the match will win the GSC Regular Season Title and be the number one seed in the Conference Tournament next week. The Argonauts will wrap up the weekend on Saturday against Delta State at noon CT.

Coach Bartlinski Close to 300th Win
* Thursday's game at Mississippi College is not only a huge one because of the impact it will have on the GSC Standings, but it could be Coach Bartlinski's 300
th win as the Head Coach of the University of West Florida's Women's Soccer Team. He owns an overall record of 299-49-20 as the Head Coach of the Argos. Bartlinski is also close to breaking 500 total wins in his career as a collegiate soccer Head Coach, as he has 494 total wins currently. Before he took the job at West Florida he coached at Brevard, where he had an overall record of 195-30-5.

Updated Rankings
* West Florida remained at the #2 spot in the United Soccer Coaches poll this week. The only team in front of UWF in the national rankings is Grand Valley State University, who is 16-0-1 this season. Columbus State University, Colorado School of Mines, and the University of Central Oklahoma round out the top five.
* The only two teams ranked in the top 25 from the Gulf South Conference are UWF and Mississippi College. Mississippi College rose to #18 in the poll in the most recent rankings. The Argonauts will face off with Mississippi College at the Robert P. Longabaugh Field on Thursday.
* The second Divisional Rankings were released by the NCAA today, and West Florida was announced as the second seed for a second consecutive week. Barry University maintained the top seed in the rankings with a 13-0-1 record. Mississippi College, Lee University, and Rollins College follow the Argos to round out the top five teams.
GSC Leaders
* UWF has three players that lead the Gulf South Conference in statistical categories. Graduate Senior
Sam Waarum is the conference leader in Assists Per Game (0.667) and Total Assists (10). Freshman
Peyton Peffers leads the conference in Game-Winning Goals with six total. Goalkeeper
Esthefanny Barreras is the GSC leader in Goals Against Average (0.367) and Save Percentage (0.868).
Upcoming Matchups
* Mississippi College is (11-0) in conference play this season and has a (13-1) overall record. The Choctaws are coming off of a weekend series where they beat Montevallo on Friday night 2-1, and defeated Auburn-Montgomery 2-1 on Sunday afternoon. Mississippi College's only loss this year came against the Tampa Spartans back in early September, 3-1. Mississippi College's Forward Emma Claire Furman is ranked third in Game-Winning Goals for the Gulf South Conference with four total. Their Goalkeeper Gabby Kayser ranks second in the conference in Goals Against Average (.633). UWF is (4-3) overall against Mississippi College and has a (1-1) record on the road at the Robert P. Longabaugh Field versus the Choctaws.
* Delta State University has an overall record of (7-8-1) and is (4-7) in conference play this season. The Statesmen got the win last Friday at Auburn-Montgomery 4-3, and loss to Montevallo 2-0 on Sunday. Delta State Goalkeeper Amanda Hilliard ranks 9
th in both Goals Against Average (1.717) and Save Percentage (.778) in the Gulf South Conference. West Florida is (14-0) against Delta State and is (4-0) when playing the Statesmen at Delta Field.
