PENSACOLA, Fla. – Senior
Anna Hall posted her second triple-double of the season and sophomore
Danielle Norquest led five players in double figures as UWF defeated Tuskegee, 78-55, on Education Day at the UWF Field House on Wednesday.
Hall finished with 10 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists to record her second triple-double and tie for the national lead among all three NCAA divisions. The senior was 5-of-9 from the floor and also had two steals.
Norquest came off the bench and made all four of her 3-pointers and posted her first-ever double figure game with a career-high 18 points. She was 7-of-9 overall and had six rebounds in 21 minutes.

Belle Bistrow also connected on four triples for 12 points, while senior
Toni Brewer added to her double-double tally with 15 points and 13 boards, giving her six in eight games.
Halee Nieman had 14 points as well.
UWF (6-2) shot 54 percent and outrebounded the Tigers 40-31. The Argos tied their season high with 11 3-pointers and were one off the assists high with 22 helpers.
"I thought we played a really good 40 minutes of basketball today," UWF head coach
Stephanie Lawrence Yelton said. "Our defense was superb today. We made adjustments in-game and executed the game plan very well."
Tuskegee (6-2) saw its 5-game win streak come to an end as it shot just 32 percent overall and just 4-of-20 from outside. Alexis Carter had a game-high 23 points on 9-of-22 shooting to lead the Tigers.
TU grabbed an 11-4 lead three minutes into the contest before the Argonauts battled back to knot the game at 17 with 1:22 left in the first quarter. A Norquest layup in the final 30 seconds gave UWF the lead for good as they stretched the margin to 24-17 1:55 into the second.
A 9-0 run late in the half sent the teams into the locker room with UWF holding a 40-28 lead. The lead got as high as 30 midway through the fourth quarter.
The game was played at 11 a.m. with more than 200 area elementary school students in attendance. Each student and their teachers received mini foam fingers, wrist bands, a UWF t-shirt, pencils, schedule posters, a voucher for 3 free admissions to future games, Argie the Argonaut stick-on tattoos, Green and Blue pom poms and a UWF sling bag. The teachers also received a UWF tumbler.
"It was so much fun to see excitement on the faces of each kid and hear how loud and in-to the game (the students) were today," Hall said.
"It was a tremendous day and I hope we can do it again," Yelton added.
UWF will play host to Columbus State this Saturday in its final regular-season non-conference game of the year. Tip-off at the UWF Field House is set for 2:00 p.m. and admission is free. Santa Claus will be in attendance and fans can take free pictures with the man in the red suit in the lobby of the arena.
